*Job Title : Security Architect - Enterprise Key ManagementLocation : Owings Mills, MDDuration : 04+ MonthsDescription:* An Architect / Senior Architect level person with strong knowledge on PKI, Encryption/Decryption services. Experience with one or more tools like SafeNet, protegrity, voltage (specifically on how they manage the keys) would be required The Security Architect will help in planning an encryption key management strategy and implementation plan for data encryption deployments. The person should have deployed enterprise key management and worked out the issues such as: • key and key pair generation • key transport and sharing • key backup and restoring from backups • key and key pair usage monitoring and control time based • volume operations based key rotation • renewal or rollover • metadata maintenance (eg. changing status from encrypt/decrypt to decrypt only) • key destruction or archival at the end of a keys service life This is an important role as it impacts several databases, files, external data, etc. Job Requirement and Skills • Deep knowledge of multiple areas of specialization. • Deep knowledge of design aspects including macro/micro level designs. Good understanding of testing methodology, automated processes, load/performance testing. • Ability to troubleshoot. Teamwork/Supervisory: • Works under general supervision with few direct instructions. • Carries out routine and semi-routine tasks. • Provides input to project-related decisions. Key contributor in a team.
