The Digital Transformation Team is looking for a Quality Assurance
professional to lead, design, plan and execute QA/testing functions across
the applications for both new card acquisitions and customer servicing in
the mobile arena. The Candidate needs to thrive in a dynamic work
environment, working not only within the local team located at Chase Card
Services Headquarters in Wilmington DE, but also working closely with teams
located in San Francisco. Candidates will be considered in both locations.
*On a day-to-day basis, you'll be expected to:*
Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and schedules.
Execute manual and automated tests, as well as identify actionable defects
quickly.
Perform Daily Defect Management and Test Execution Monitoring
Manage QA coverage of multiple mobile and browser based projects.
Planning/organizing necessary test passes, staying on top of all important
issues while triaging defects, driving issues to resolutions and keeping
everyone aware of the QA status
Work with different teams (Eng/PM/Operation) to collect necessary
information to assure the QA coverage, and provide feedback on quality
issues.
Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and other QA team members
to fulfill testing and production release needs
Work with onsite and offshore team to set priorities and remove their
roadblocks to ensure sufficient coverage is completed for all projects
within a release.
Assess the status of the release, create test dashboards/reports and ensure
releases are delivered on time and of high quality.
*Basic Qualifications*
Strong understanding of testing browser based applications/services
Strong understanding of testing mobile applications is plus.
At least 7+ years of relevant IT/quality assurance work experience as a QA
tester or analyst
B.S. degree in Computer Science or Related Field
Passion for mobile apps, mobile tools, & mobile testing challenges
Proficient in at least one of the common coding languages. VB Script,
JavaScript, Java, Python or PHP is preferred.
Proven ability to conduct accurate needs analysis, solve problems, and
develop plans with given information.
Ability to develop test cases & end-to-end scenarios quickly and get them
prioritized based on changes
Deep Knowledge of Test and Tool Development Methodology
Solid understanding of both Agile and Waterfall Software Development
Methodologies and their deliverables is preferred
Extensive Working knowledge of Quality Center, MS Office, and SQL
Proactive communicator and effective influencer.
Ability to work well in a matrixed organization.
Ability to work under pressure, deal with ambiguity and multi-task. Strong
desire to learn new things and work/thrive in fast-paced, fast-changing
environment
Previous experience of test automation design and implementation is a plus
