*JD:* *Responsibilities* *Understand existing system, functionally and technically, by going through documentation, code and discussions with customer SMEs. Proactively come out with * *gaps in understanding and initiate discussions with customer SMEs to close the gaps. Document understanding gained, where needed. * *Take part in discussions with business on new functionalities to be built in. Understand user requirements and come out with corresponding functional and * *non-functional system requirements. Document the same.* *Come out with optimized solution design and related context diagrams for implementing the requirements on the existing system.* *Come out with optimized technical specifications based on finalized solution design and context diagrams.* *Performing problem analysis, design and documentation of problem solutions where needed.* *Participate in review of solution design, context diagrams and technical specification documents. * *Articulate ideas clearly and get involved in discussions with customer SMEs on explaining the solution and in getting sign-off on deliverables.* *Ensure that the team sitting at offshore are brought up-to-date on the system. Provide them clarity wherever needed.
