Job Requisition Number : 455BR Job Title: Sr Consultant / Software Engineer Location: MO Duration: 6+ months Rate: Please share your BEST least competitive rates Job Description (please add additional skills, if necessary)** *Experience:* · Extensive knowledge of complex applications or technology areas coupled with specialized knowledge in multiple disciplines. · Extensive industry knowledge in the areas of advanced *project management methodology's*, *systems integration methodology's*, industry trends, and application software. · High Emphasis on *Cobol *source code maintenance · High Emphasis on *SQL and JCL* · Packaged application software implementation methodology including Design, Package Configuration, Customization, Testing, & Conversion · Productivity tools: *MS Project, Visio, MS Office* · Communication skills / ability to work well within multi-team environment · Experience with *Settlement, Payments Manager, Debit, Prepaid or Processing* *Major Accountabilities*: · Recognized subject matter expert responsible for the technical planning, design, development, implementation, documentation & maintenance of application software. · Accountable for software quality and Service Level Agreements. Ensure development efforts conform to overall strategic direction. · Assist in examining commercially available and forthcoming industry technologies related to area of expertise to determine whether or not technology will support both present and planned project requirements. · Ensure knowledge transfer of vendor technology to clients staff. Maintain liaison with internal staff and vendors who have systems design problems or requirements. · Analyze information systems encompassing potential user contact, analysis of goals, problem complexity and feasibility study, logic design and detailed systems flowcharting, analysis of input-output flow, hardware study, forms layout, resource evaluation, and cost and time analysis. · Participate in implementation, including maintenance, user allocation, file design, coding, error removal, logic optimization, systems re-evaluation, testing, user approval, final corrections, and program and run time documentation. · Write, debug, diagram, create flowcharts, code, and document programs. · Prepare technical project plan, incorporating development costs and tasks of the various technical components.
