Position: Network Analyst
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Position: 6+ months contract
This candidate will perform these tasks:
Assist in the decommission/deactivation of network ports as a result of the
corporate wide initiative to move to wireless networks
Manipulate, analyze and correlate various usage reports and data sources
taken on the network and the users of the network to make an educated
decision if the port can be deactivate based a series of criteria across
all the data
Make recommendations of eligible ports to be decommissioned based on
confidence
Prepare site based recommendations
Track, compare and report before and after results, and accuracy of the
executed recommendation for each phase
Automate/streamline process/analysis to expedite reiterative process and
successive recommendations
Candidate must be available before and after normal working hours
This candidate should have the following experience:
Working with large data sets
Data Analysis of structure and unstructured data
Link and cross reference data from various sources
Experience with IT infrastructure projects
Experience with database and spreadsheet manipulation and analysis
Top 3 Technical Skills:
Ability analyze usage report data
Understands IT Network terminology
Top 3 Non-Technical Skills:
Detail Oriented
Communication
Problem Solving
