We are seeking a Red Hat System Administrator to provide system
administration which will include but not be limited to:
? Evaluate the build and automation processes and make recommendations ?
Mentor customer staff ? Troubleshoot any RHEL based issues ? Administration
of Satellite 6 ? Migrate existing RHEL 5 systems to RHEL 7 ? Analyze uses
for Puppet and Ansible and make recommendations/implementations
Mandatory Requirements
1. Must be expert/senior level with 7+ years of experience and able to work
independently with minimal instructions
2. *Must be a RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer)*
*Technical Requirements:*
1. Experience with the evaluation of system build process and procedures
2. Experience with the automation of IT processes leveraging the SOE
(standard operating environment)
3. Experience with mentoring of staff
4. Experience with troubleshooting of RHEL based environment
5. Experience with the creation of monitoring capabilities to assist in
troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and monitoring of the RHEL based
environment.
6. Experience with administration of RHN Satellite Server 6 to help
accommodate:
a. Monitoring and performance management
b. Errata and security patch management
c. Create, test and deploy existing and new Puppet modules
d. Deployment of physical and virtual machines
7. Experience with *the migration of any RHEL 5 machines to RHEL 7*
8. Experience with *configuration management direction Ansible verses
Puppet*
