Hello, We have an immediate need with our client for a Contract-to-Hire position:
POSITION TITLE: Programmer Analyst STATUS: Permanent REPORTS TO: Manager, Oracle Applications Location: Pasadena, CA Type: 6 months Contract / Contract-to-Hire SUMMARY: Responsibility will be to interact and consult with users at all levels within the company to review, analyze, evaluate, extend and support our Oracle E-Business Suite system and user needs. This is a hands-on position requiring 70/30 functional/technical skills, and responsibilities will include working with the business community to understand and develop functional specifications for system enhancements as required, system design and specifications, development, testing and production support. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who enjoys a challenge, who can work with minimal supervision, who can take a project from inception through completion, and who enjoys variety in his or her day. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who likes to work with all aspects of an ERP system as you will not be tied to one functional area. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Oracle Financials modules including Receivables, Payables, Fixed Assets and General Ledger, the ability to develop custom objects, provide production support for various applications and develop business intelligence reports using Oracle Discoverer 11g. Additional experience with the Oracle Quote-to-Cash business cycle, Oracle HRMS, UPK, Oracle OBIEE, Vertex as well as Tenrox Workforce Planning is a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support, implement and upgrade all modules applicable to the Oracle Financials suite o Receivables o Payables o Fixed Assets o General Ledger o Internet Expenses o Cash Management * Provide techno/functional support of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1.3 system * Work closely with customers, colleagues, consultants and business stakeholders to define business requirements and document business processes and data flow diagrams * Prioritize production issues, address them in a timely fashion and communicate status on a regular basis to customers and manager as required * Develop new and update existing database objects for use in production environment * Develop business intelligence solutions using Oracle Discoverer 11g * Build, support and maintain interfaces to and from Oracle E-Business Suite * Coordinate enhancement requests by conducting unit tests and designing user test plans for user acceptance testing * Provide production support for various applications, including but not limited to, Oracle Financials suite, Oracle Quote-to-Cash modules, Oracle HRMS, Vertex and Tenrox Workforce Planning * Develop training materials and conduct user training as needed * Work with business users to develop automated test scripts using HP Functional Testing (formerly known as Mercury Quick Test Pro) SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Oracle * Previous experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 a major plus * Past Oracle Applications experience a must * Strong Functional experience with Oracle Financials modules including: Receivables, Payables, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Internet Expenses and Cash Management * Ability to learn and support additional applications such as the Oracle Quote-to-Cash modules, Oracle Procurement modules, Vertex and Tenrox Workforce Planning a major plus * Ability to create new and enhance existing custom reports to meet functional business requirements using Oracle Discoverer 11g * Experience with Oracle OBIEE or other reporting platform a plus * Complete understanding of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 architecture and underlying table structures a major plus * Highly proficient in SQL, PL/SQL programming, Oracle Discoverer 10g/11g, tuning of stored procedures and views and BI (XML) Publisher * Solid experience with various development tools including Oracle Workflow, Oracle Forms and Reports 10gand Toad General * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related discipline is desired or at least 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area * Ability to skillfully react and adapt to a fluid and changing work environment * Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team oriented environment * Interpersonal and leadership skills to work effectively with staff and managers * Demonstrated ability to balance multiple business requirements simultaneously * Strong verbal and written communications skills * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan, organize and manage workload * Strong data analysis skills * Experience with change management procedures a must * Knowledge of SOX compliance a must * Prior experience with HP Functional Testing (formerly known as Mercury Quick Test Pro) a plus * Demonstrated knowledge of industry standard tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access * Professional certifications (Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus Kindly email me your updated resume at mani...@tts-consulting.com<mailto:mani...@tts-consulting.com> and I will call you back promptly Thank you Manish Savale TTS Inc (925) 932-3743 - fax mani...@tts-consulting.com<mailto:mani...@tts-consulting.com> 1255 Treat Blvd, Suite 140 Walnut Creek, CA 94597 -- *************************************************************************************** For all SAP related tutorials,Articles,Faqs,Tips www.sapbrainsonline.com **************************************************************************************** You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sapbrains" group.
