Ability to influence and negotiate tight deadlines and deliverables* *3 Ability to organize and track large number of tasks and status* * * *Job Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related discipline or an equivalent combination or education, training and experience **Six to eight years of IT experience in a large-scale environment while performing project coordination or project management role *Working knowledge of Windows operating system, UNIX (AIX, specifically), mainframe (CICS, DB2, CSS, etc), server hardware, storage technologies, relational databases, and physical design concepts* *Responsibilities:* I. Team with the project leads/managers and Computing Services technical leads/managers to facilitate a shared understanding of the project requirements for Computing Services work. Plan the required Computing Services activities, resources and targets to meet the project goals and objectives. 2. Monitor project-required work for Computing Services, schedules and budgets against targets. Provide timely updates, and recommend actions resulting from project status, exceptions and escalations. integrate various project technologies with Computing Services technology standards and technical resource capabilities. 3. Work with the other Request Service Project Coordinators to maintain the overall Computing Services project work schedule, and recommend actions regarding risks, prioritization, and opportunities for improvement. 4. When technical information Is missing or is incomplete, add value by translating project requirements into Computing Services technical & resource requirements by applying knowledge of Windows operating system, UNIX (AIX , specifically), mainframe (CICS, DB2, CSS, etc), server hardware, storage technologies, relational databases, and physical design concepts. 5.
