Position: SAP ABAP developer with EDI
Location: Camden, NJ (Local Consultants only – In person interview is must)
Length: 4 months with the option to extend.
Experience: 3-6 Years
Job Description:

*It **is core ABAP person that has specialized in EDI. The manager said if
you find and ABAP person that specializes in EDI – they will automatically
have 80%+ of what the job calls for.***
· Performs ABAP coding, package configuration compliant with the
required development standards; prepares component and assembly test plans,
including conditions, data and expected results; and performs component and
assembly testing.

Creates system documentation for computer programs and subsystems in
development or maintenance environment. Able to lead subsystem designs and
participate in system design projects.
·
Expected to provide effective knowledge transfer on all work performed to
select employees. Analyzes, resolves, or assists others in resolving test or
production problems. Supports business studies, costing and feasibility
studies, and proposal preparation efforts.
·
A university degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering or the
equivalent experience demonstrated by progressive responsibilities Three to
six years or equivalent applications programming experience and may require
specific industry or platform experience
Specialization in EDI/IDOCS/ALE
Understanding of EDI Standards (ANSI X12)
Experience with ORDERS (850) and INVOICE (810)
Ability to read/understand EDI Mapping Specifications (EDI / IDOC),
experience working with Gentran translator a plus
Strong SAP/ABAP Technical skills
