These processes will are key to our Data Quality and Benchmarking efforts, and candidates must have strong T-SQL and SSIS/ETL skills in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will also have programming knowledge in either VBScript or similar scripting language. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Maintain existing ETL code • Design, Document and Develop new ETL code using Actian, Pervasive (Data Junction) or similar tool • Review requirements and data models, and translate into ETL design processes that effectively populate data tables • Communicate with the Business Analyst and Data Analyst to fully understand requirements, provide feedback, and request clarification, as needed • Review and interpret data models • Conduct ETL design reviews with the Business Analyst, Data Analyst and DBA to ensure that code meets performance requirements • Conduct ETL code reviews with the System Architect and Business Analyst to ensure code meets quality standards as well as meets requirements • Follow configuration and change management processes • Track tasks in Rally • Maintain source code in TFS • Participate in Iteration Planning • Produce quality software products, utilizing best practice methodology and technology • Participate in daily standups and weekly status reporting Other job and position related duties that may be assigned by management. *KEY ATTRIBUTES:* Initiative - Volunteers readily; Undertakes self-development activities; Seeks increased responsibilities; Takes independent actions and calculated risks; Looks for and takes advantage of opportunities; Asks for and offers help when needed.
