*Network Engineer opening - NYC contract thru Feb 2011**(Priority )*
• Minimum three (3) years or related experience in analysis of
telecommunications costs, network infrastructures, Data Center and Client
connection Inventory Management and data / database management & reporting.
• Understanding of current network communications technologies e.g., SONET,
T1, T3, Inter and Local Exchange Carrier distribution.
Carrier/Client Last mile delivery techniques, Client Circuit documentation
practices by Carriers as well as Financial Services Industry.
• Strong analytical skills, verbal, written, and personal communication
skills.
• Experience in MS office products, Excel, Power Point, etc. Including
strong knowledge and capabilities in Spreadsheet manipulations and
reporting.
• Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills. Ability to
write clearly, communicate effectively and liaise with various levels of an
organization.
Desired Skill Set:
• Awareness of Financial Services Industry players such as AT&T, Verizon
Business, SBC etc…, a plus.
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN architectures and Internet Protocols a plus.
