company based in SF Bay Area.
We currently have an immediate requirement for a Automation Engineer*
* in Foster
City, CA. This is Permanent * *positions.
Responsibilities:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Very good attention to detail, someone who takes ownership and pride in
all work.
- Process oriented
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as with a team.
- Understanding of the software development life-cycle.
- Experience as a programmer/developer
- Must be able to occasionally work off-hours to support production
releases.
Skills:
- Demonstrable written and oral communication skills
- Perl. Good knowledge, including data structures, ability to create
modules, interact with databases, integrate with other applications, and
experience creating and structuring applications. CGI.pm, DBI.pm and/or
related modules
- MySQL. Ability to script creation and changes of stored procedures,
views, indices and permissions. Administration knowledge.
- Good knowledge and understanding of configuration management and related
processes.
- Unix operating system (Linux, Solaris, AIX, etc)
- Linux and Shell Scripting
- Integrate apps and write tools
- Software version control systems (such as ClearCase, Subversion,
Perforce. Accurev is a plus)
- Ability to install and configure a Linux system from scratch
- Deployment of web/db applications
- Ability to configure Apache
