The BI Architect is responsible for the overall technology aspects of the
Hess Business Warehouse. The architect has a key technical role and
thorough understanding of presentation tools, extract/transform tools,
database engines, data design and technical infrastructure. The major
responsibilities are:
· Thorough understanding of the standard BI architecture
· Design custom data models and InfoObject solutions to
address the business requirements
· Integrate SAP tools from extractors to presentation layer
· Design and review the technical aspects of the data
warehouse
· Review technical work of other team members
· Review and participate in testing of the data design,
tool design & data extracts/transforms
