EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of 5 years in developing Java Web applications.
· Solid understanding and hands-on skills in J2EE architecture and
design patterns.
· Experience with advanced OOA/OOD techniques to design enterprise
applications leveraging industry best practices.
· Experience in UML modeling and use case driven development
· Experience in current & previous versions of JBoss application
server.
· Experience with XML related technologies including XSLT
· Good understanding and experience in relational databases
(Sybase, Oracle or SQL Server)
· Experience in integrating J2EE applications with legacy systems.
· Knowledge of popular open source frameworks: Spring MVC, Spring
Security, Hibernate or JPA
· Experience in security systems and frameworks (JAAS, LDAP)
· Full understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and Web
Services: RESTful and SOAP
· Strong background in full lifecycle development using multiple
platforms or languages
· Familiarity with web front-end development frameworks: ExtJS,
JQuery
· Experience with configuration management tasks and frameworks:
Maven, Ant
· Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) frameworks: jBPM
· System architecture and development experience in a high
transaction/high availability systems.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
· Sun Certified Java Programmer certification is desirable

COMMUNICATION AND COGNITIVE ABILITIES:
· Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written),
including facilitation and team leadership skills
· Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or stressful
situations
· Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance
· Flexibility, ability to change priorities quickly, and capacity
to handle multiple tasks
· Ability to learn new tools and technologies
· Ability to work independently and in a team
