*Job Title : Sr Oracle DBA*
Location : *Portland Oregon*
*Duration :** 6+ months*
Description:
· Design and develop high-performance data solutions
· Research, prototype and verify software solutions that overcome
technical boundaries
· Architect the right kinds of flexibility to fuel growth and
sustainability
· Generalize and simplify technical solutions to solve multiple needs
· Benchmark possible solutions and implement improvements to expand
capacity
*What We’re Looking For:*
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent *required*
· 5+ years of in-depth IT experience working as a Data Engineer on
multiple projects and business functions *required*
· Experience working with both Oracle 9i and 11g* required*
· Experience working with MongoDB (or other No SQL technologies
such as Cassandra) *preferred*
· Logical and physical data modeling experience *preferred*,
specifically working with Erwin
· Experience working in an Agile development team to plan, design
and develop solutions *preferred*
· Experience designing and developing *SQL* and *PL/SQL* solutions
including DDL and DML *required*
· A track record of solving problems and getting things done in a
fast pace, ever evolving environment
· Successfully managing large amounts of data and/or high throughput
on distributed systems
· Professional experience with low-level optimizing, tuning and
debugging for performance
· Knowledge of 11g Enterprise Manager a plus
· Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
· Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and
understand how IT needs to support the business
