*Location: Sunnyvale, CA*
*Duration: 12 months plus contract / Open for Fulltime*
*Work as Performance Architect for HCL customer. Presale activities
whenever required on need basis.*
*Responsibilities:*
Deep understanding on J2EE Technologies and frameworks.
Good understanding of operating systems, application servers and SQL
databases. Should be able to do performance tuning of these.
Should have done performance consulting (application performance
assessments) to customers.
Strong architecture, design and implementation experience with performance
solutions, products, and industry trends.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills Prior experience in
addressing business and technical stakeholder requirements and translating
these to appropriate solution architectures Ability to analyze production
systems and applications performance and scalability issues and provide
solutions Architectural/Design reviews and provide suggestions for
performance improvements.
Develop performance and scalability testing and engineering frameworks and
solutions Review/profile/debug application code for performance bottlenecks
and provide recommendations. Should have good understanding of different
caching technologies.
Should have good understanding of nosql databases.
Experience of using various load testing, code profiling and other tools
used in performance engineering Capacity Planning, Sizing and
Infrastructure improvements Performance modeling and experience in any of
the tool.
