I'm looking for a candidate to work on a 6 month open ended contract (there
is a high possibility the contract lasts longer than 12 months) for a client
in the Dallas, Texas area.
*RedHat Linux /VMware Administrator*
3-5 years RedHat Linux System Administration experience
3-5 years VMWare experience (ESX)
3-5 years Storage experience (SVMs, NFS, VMFS)
VCP Certification is highly preferred
Some Windows background is preferred
The candidate will look at VMware metrics around storage and memory, adding
additional resources to services and desktops and existing VMs. They will
also be monitoring storage and making sure CPUs don't exert their capacity.
Great communication skills are a must as they will be communicating with
high level executives.
