Kindly respond to this requirement with your consultant resume, contact and current location info to speed up the interview process.* Position :- Java/J2EE Developer Location :- Bloomington, Illinois Duration :- 12 months seeks a strong Java/J2EE developer with Documentum 6.x workflow development experience to support an Electronic Data Capture System. Specifically, development of custom Java workflow methods. xCP workflow experience is beneficial. Strong Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC) experience is required.The individual must be very strong in Java/J2EE coding techniques, business requirements and processes & procedures. Other responsibilities include providing guidance to team members regarding coding, code reviews, testing, and overall quality of deliverables. The person chosen must have outstanding verbal and written communications skills to provide direct updates to both the client and a distributed delivery team. Responsibilities of the position include: - J2EE design experience (Object Oriented analysis and object oriented design (Senior level skills) - Deep understanding of technical architectures - Previous Cobol application development experience (nice to have) - Middleware development/design experience (WPS and MQ) - Previous experience wth user interface design - Previous database experience (logical and physical models) DB2 preferred - Strategic thinking for resource planning - Initiative to understand work priority and drive project milestones - Highly effective Communication skills to lead team and work efforts,provide mentoring and successful deliverables - Apply past design and development experience to improve efficiency and reduce impacts on the application development Job Level Specific Duties • Works on multiple applications. • Provides informal mentoring to less experienced colleagues. • Develops innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis. • Participates and may lead critical projects, customer engagements or business processes. • Provides design and documentation at an application or function capability level. • Participates in establishing and maintaining application standards and processes. • Effectively communicates application and technical direction to the business and within the customer s IT organization. • Advises on issues of systems integration, compatibility, scalability and multiple platforms. Typical Years of Experience • Typically requires 4-6 years relevant experience. Minimum Education and Certifications • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Skills • Strong understanding of at least one programming language. • Strong knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging applications. • Strong knowledge of application configuration, maintenance and support. • Applies a broad knowledge of application programming and design to analyze and isolate issues. • Exceptional ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors. • General understanding of how technology decisions relate to business needs. Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions • Ability to physically perform general office requirements. • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. • Significant travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required.
