The qualified candidate will provide website development of User Interfaces for high traffic, high availability websites, social media channels, and other electronic communications mediums. Responsibilities include: Develop user interfaces and provide leadership to other developers based on an advanced skill level in website programming using JavaScript, Ajax frameworks, JSON, XML, CSS, and other Web 2.0 Standards; Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts and staff to update content on websites, social media channels, and other electronic communication mediums; Develop user interface prototypes and specifications to create customized web products that are easy-to-understand, user-friendly, and accessible and tailored to meet the needs of diverse audiences such as the general public, health professionals, and news media; Provide recommendations that reflects clear knowledge and application of current website design and development subject matter; Maintain a high level of customer service that is prompt, responsive, courteous, and comprehensive; Maintain working relationships that facilitate the positive outcome of program activities Required Personal/Professional Skills: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience; or a minimum 9 years experience to satisfy degree and experience requirements. 3 years experience managing complex responsibilities in a demanding and fast paced work environment and adapts well to quickly changing priorities. 3 years experience in website development and maintenance. Works effectively in an environment that supports teamwork, cooperation, and trust, along with the ability to work independently; Provides sound recommendations that reflect clear knowledge and application of website development subject matter. Responds well to changing events and competing priorities when unanticipated events occur. Able to work demanding and flexible work schedules when the team is activated for emergency responses.
