Kindly respond to this requirement with your consultant resume, contact and current location info to speed up the interview process.* Position :- SharePoint Architect Location :- Chicago, IL Duration :- 12 months Primary Responsibilities: As a SharePoint Architect you must be able to perform the following duties: • Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions. • Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using classic ASP, Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2007 and new 2013. • Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards. • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. • Developing and managing a project plan • Interviewing key Authority department staff to identify critical document driven business processes, document types, workflows, metadata, and potential records center needs • Creating an effective taxonomy • Review and assist with any changes needed to the existing technical architecture to support the solution (SharePoint server, Search Servers, SQL Server, etc.) • Recommend and assist with identifying the options for and the integration of any required third-party software or hardware to facilitate document capture, indexing, and search. • Transfer of the appropriate documentation and knowledge to staff • Prior to the start of this effort, Authority departments have been independently scanning documents to PDF format and maintaining a significant number of electronic documents stored in Windows network file shares for their own use. The candidate must recommend and assist with the implementation of tools or options for transferring the appropriate content from file shares into SharePoint with the appropriate metadata assigned. • The existing scanned PDF format files are images and there are duplicates of some of the key files. The Vendor must recommend and assist with tools or options to modify the existing files into a searchable format and/or indexing and establish a control mechanism to manage duplicate files. Qualifications: • Experience programming in .NET 3.5, C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, C/C++, XLM. Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation. • Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications. • Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture. • Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services. • Ability to write Stored Procedures, write complex SQL queries, and ability to analyze the SQL data. • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services.
