*Title: SAP QA Lead Location: Melville, NY Duration: 6-month Contract to
Hire H4 EAD, GC EAD, GC, USC*


Requirements:

·  Bachelor's degree or the equivalent years of business experience is
required.

·  Minimum of three to five years working within the Software Development
Life Cycle (SDLC) preferred with at least three years of testing experience
required.

·  Minimum of three to five years of Software Quality Assurance testing
using manual processes or automated tools preferred.

·  Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and project
management skills are required.

·  Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint required,

·  Experience with Client Testing Products including Quality Center or
other industry standard tools required.

·  Quick Test Professional, Functional Tester, Loadrunner and Sitescope
preferred.

·  Ability to analyze requirements and design suitable test plans and cases
required.

·  Managing Full-time or Consulting Associates required

·  Versatile, flexible, and willing to work within changing priorities
required.

·  Knowledge of AS/400, Web Applications, SAP Systems is preferred.

·  Experience with integrating Incident Reporting Tools and Client Quality
Center is preferred.

·  Working knowledge of SQL preferred.

·  General business experience including sales, distribution and warehouse
is preferred.


Day to Day demands:

·  Minimum of 5 years of SAP experience

·  *Solid knowledge of SAP solutions, SAP S4 Hana

·  Managing offshore testers

·  Client ALM testing tools, workflow automation software

·  Defining test approach and creating a plan

·  Hands-on skills & functional testing

·  Self starter, independent, comfortable in a fast-paced environment

·  Agile knowledge

·  Microsoft office tools

·  Leadership skills: Provides leadership and direction regarding testing
tools and testing best practices for multiple teams.

·  Provides a high level interface between the IS Applications Development
team and functional groups.

·  Responsible for overseeing that the test plan and test lab set-up,
importing of requirements and requirements traceability, test case creation
review and test lab execution processes and status, and defect reporting
processes and status are being followed as per standards.

·  Assesses problems and solutions from a business perspective with a focus
on what the customer really needs.

·  Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an
internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical
partners.

·  Ensures that applications and systems are in compliance with established
quality standards and meeting the business requirements

·  Champions the application of quality principles in IT processes through
training, meeting and team facilitation, communication programs, and team
building activities

·  Monitors and reports on defects. Track and drive defect improvements.

·  Acts as a project leader and a subject matter expert on multiple and
complex QA related projects.

·  Provide guidance, mentoring, leadership, and oversight for QA resources
(both onshore and offshore) and non-QA colleagues engaged in quality
assurance activities

·  Review and document performance of associates.

·  Provide recommendations and consulting on methodologies and approaches
to improve overall product quality

·  Interface with IT Development and IT Operations Support teams to get
necessary data to improve product quality and supportability

·  Manage the refresh of the data within multiple environments

·  Acts as the point person for status reporting and executive dashboard

·  Take a leadership role in developing and improving Project Life Cycle
and Software Development Life Cycle

·  Actively participates in cross-functional team/task forces working
closely with the user community applying an IS/Business perspective to
identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement.

·  Confirms test execution using manual procedures, testing tools, and
database queries are being completed as per Quality Standards

·  Interfaces with developers and business analyst to resolve software
defects.

·  Responsible for managing the development and execution of formal test
plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications

·  Reports on software quality metrics. Defines and tracks quality
assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test
status

·  Involved in testing, planning, writing test cases/scripts, and test
execution as needed

·  Effectively communicates plans and results to the functional business
areas, IT development teams, and management

·  Addresses daily support issues with urgency and ensure that resolutions
are meant to solve the root of the problem
