Federal client looking for an Automation Engineer to build, administer, and
improve our automated testing frameworks customized to our unique security
products. Our software development process leans heavily on this continuous
integration environment to perform automated software builds and tests
against a wide range of operating systems and configurations.
Proactively identify build/release pipeline bottlenecks, diagnose, and
resolve build failures, and discover new efficiencies
Design, develop, and deploy automated tests in a continuous build
environment (Git/Github, Jenkins)
Digging into code to discover the root cause of an issue and helping the
development team identify a solution
*Requirements:*
- Experience with automated build / continuous-integration tools
(Jenkins, Vagrant, Ansible)
- Solid networking, Linux, and Windows foundation
- Command of a scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Groovy) to
write automated tests and tools
- Proficiency in coding, with a penchant for learning new languages and
flexibility in adopting new technologies
- Comfort with a highly dynamic work environment, lending a helping hand
to colleagues, and taking on new challenges with positivity and
resourcefulness
- Excellent communication skills
