Required Experience:
Key Skills Required:
Experience in Web and *Cross-browser testing*, working knowledge of IBM
Rational products such as Test Manager, Clear Quest, Clear Case, Rational
Functional Tester (RFT) and Quality Manager(RQM)
Experience in SDLC and testing life-cycle (STLC), Development and Support.
Preferred Test Certifications like CSQE or CSTE
Description:
Designs and coordinates test scripts as well as conducts and participates
in walk troughs of application tests.
Conducts unit, module, system, regression, stress and pilot tests.
Prepares testing schedules and documents expected results.
Advises team on debugging aids available for environment.
Reviews functional/technical specifications and Leads the effort in
preparing test
plans/cases/scripts for software corrections and enhancements.
Facilitates the scheduling and performing testing, submitting errors/issues
for correction.
Maintains awareness of new Quality Assurance methods.
Participates in the identification and monitoring of risks and issues.
Facilitates risk management practices.
Develops Quality Assurance (QA) processes for IR products and services
worldwide.
Reviews system specifications and documentation at appropriate points in
the System
Development Life Cycle (SDLC Designs and develops test plans to validate
computer
applications for technical specifications and business requirements.
Proficient in front end Web testing and leading content-code initiatives.
Responsible for setting expectations, creating Test Plans and Test Scripts.
Participates in system development reviews.
Working knowledge of Rational Tools such as Rational Test Manager, Clear
Quest, Clear Case and working knowledge of RFT and RQM.
Writes test plans for highly complex systems to validate functionality,
interoperability and data integrity of a full-integrated system.
Manages a full-cycle process for recording test discrepancies and
communicating those findings to the appropriate sources.
Supports and follows quality processes in support of the development and
production change management process.
Works as a team player and is a positive influence in the Department.
