*We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional for the
position of development database administrator. Job responsibilities focus
on the maintenance and development of database objects and reporting tools
in support of vendor loan origination software.*
*The position provides a challenging opportunity for a highly motivated
individual to build on experience in performing a wide range of database
development responsibilities from design through deployment. *
*Responsibilities: *
· *Assists in the maintenance of Development and Quality Assurance
database Servers, including:*
· *Monitoring existing maintenance plans *
· *Maintaining secure database access for authorized users *
· *Performance tuning *
· *Troubleshooting performance bottlenecks *
· *Develops and maintains knowledge of internal SQL Server database
structures *
· *Assists in the process of database design and development *
· *Performs ad hoc queries and participates in the development of
reporting solutions using Microsoft*
· *SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services *
· *Participates in proprietary software testing and quality
assurance *
· *Maintain all databases which support development and quality
assurance application environments*
· *Support Database Continuous Integration *
*Education and Experience Requirements: *
· *Minimum BS or BA in computer science or information technology *
· *Excellent analytic, interpersonal, and communication skills *
· *Minimum one year of experience querying relational databases
using SQL *
· *Experience or education in the one or more of the following areas
is highly desirable: *
· *Agile development environment *
· *T-SQL stored procedure development *
· *Database analysis and/or design *
· *Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services design and development,
or similar report design and development experience (e.g. Microsoft Access
or Crystal Reports) *
· *Subversion change control system*
