Title: web Developer or Frontend Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Rate: $45/hr on C2C all inclusive
Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and test web applications in accordance with
established requirements, standards, processes and best practices
- Build software solutions and participate in production release
activities
- Maintain and proactively monitor production applications and
platforms; proactively develop solutions to improve user experience
- Prepare high quality technical documentation pertaining to business
and technical requirements, including writing design documents, test cases
and deployment guides
- Collaborate within an *AGILE* dynamic development environment
- Adhere to high-quality development principals
- Research and correct system bugs
Minimum qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of software development life-cycle and Agile
process
- Commitment of accountability and responsibility for end product
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of delivering application from
requirement gathering to post-production support in a test-driven and
continuous integration environment
- Minimum 2 years of website development experience with proficiency in
latest versions of HTML5, XML, CSS3, Backbone JS or React and other
Javascript libraries (JQuery)
- 2+ years Experience with JS unittest tools such as Jasmine
- Minimum of 1 year experience of Java development and basic
understanding of the language
- Self-motivated and able to work cohesively within a team environment
and on multiple, concurrent project initiatives
- Strong problem analyzing, solving and communication skills
- Ability to work within an environment of frequently changing
priorities and as an integral part of a team
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with build tools such as Maven/Gradle
- Extended working experience of developing web pages independently from
specified UI design and style guide
- Solid understanding of web page performance in design and development
- Extended experience in other JS libraries (React, Ext-JS, Node JS,
Angular)
- Familiarity with Grunt
- Experience with React JS
