Java Developer to provide integral project support working with Java and
web technologies.
Candidate will support and enhance Java and Web applications using Tomcat,
Spring, REST, SOAP, JMS, GWT, and XML; implement object-oriented designs;
Provide input to testing team on integration tests; and interact with
internal customers to help define software requirements.
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience
with Java design and development, Oracle databases, REST, XML, Apache
Lucene, Agile, Spring based web services, Tomcat, Spring, SOAP, JMS and
GWT.

Key responsibilities
Support and enhance Java and Web application using Tomcat, Spring, REST and
SOAP web services, JMS, GWT, other XML-based technologies, and Oracle
database
Implement object-oriented designs applying working knowledge of design
patterns
As part of an Agile team, collaborate with other software engineers
Provide input to testing team on integration tests
Interact with internal customers to help define software requirements
*Qualifications*
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent
experience
3+ years of Java design and development experience
3+ years experience working with Oracle databases
Exposure to REST or Spring based web services
Proven ability to adapt well to change
Strong communication skills
Experience with XML and Apache Lucene is preferred
Experience or strong interest in Agile development is preferred
