Job Description: -
• 10 years of experience in Java/J2EE development in high availability
transaction processing distributed systems.
• Minimum of 5 years development experience on a Unix and/or Linux
environment.
• Work experience in the financial industry preferably Securities
Operations area; 4 years bachelor degree or international equivalent;
excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to
explain ideas and concepts to both business and development
personnel.
Required Technical Skills
• Strong core java experience: collection, cuncurrency etc
• Strong design experience including desing patterns
• Strong understanding of EJBs and EJB design patterns
• Strong experience in Messaging including MQ and EMS
• Strong experience in Databases including Oracle and Sybase
• Strong experience in Hibernate and other ORM tools
• Strong experinece in Spring framework
• Strong experience in Test driven development including Junit
• Strong experience in Shell and Perl scripting
Preferred Technical Skills
• Rational and Agile methodology
• GWT, JSP, Servlets, Struts, Ajax and Java Swing
• ETL tools like DataStage and Informatica
• Datawarehouse design and implementation
• Business Objects universe design and reporting
