We have an urgent requirement for Systems Security Admin
Title: Systems Security Admin
Location: Albuquerque NM
The Security Engineer is responsible for the monitoring, deployment, and
support of the security infrastructure and other security solutions. This
individual will support multiple security related projects and
technologies, interfacing with internal, external and customer support
teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Responsible for the overall security system infrastructure including
engineering, implementation and integration and technical service and
support.
*Designs, implements/installs, maintains, and administers security
infrastructure including hardware, software, and various configurations.
*Produce metrics from security technologies and presenting a scorecard to
the head of IT security.
*Monitors overall performance of security infrastructure to identify
potential issues and action accordingly.
*Ensure the Confidentiality Integrity and Availability of assets is being
managed by regularly reviewing reports, researching stability issues, and
conducting vulnerability and risk assessments.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Work closely with the Security Architect to operationalize the security
architecture and ensure technologies are behaving as expected.
*Ensure the overall security posture of the network by reviewing reports
from IDS/IPS systems, firewalls and event correlation systems.
*Ensure that hardened servers and desktop systems maintain their integrity
by regularly reviewing system compliance reports.
*Perform on call duties

Additional Job Details: QUALIFICATIONS: * Requires in-depth knowledge of
enterprise level information security, networking, and auditing experience
(two to five years hands-on experience). *Extensive hands-on experience
working with Sourcefire or other IDS/IPS, Palo Alto or other next
generation firewall technology, PGP or other whole-disk encryption
solution, Microsoft PKI, Symantec Vontu or other DLP, compliance and
vulnerability scanning tools, security event monitoring, Netscaler or other
remote access solutions, and SSL Certs. * In depth familiarity with Windows
Server and Unix operating systems. Working knowledge of TCP/IP and
experience researching security issues such as Cross Site Scripting, SQL
Injection, Cookie Manipulation, Buffer Overflows, etc. EDUCATION:
*Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information
Assurance, or other Information Technology field preferred. Equivalent
experience will be considered. *CISSP, GIAC, CEH or CCNA certification
preferred.
