Job role: *Web / PHP Developer*
Location: *Ciber Pittsburgh*
Duration: 3-6+ MONTH CONTRACT
Rate: DOE
A Developer is a resource who has a specialized set of skills related to
the development of code bases and or functional components as related to
software development. An individual’s skill set may be more focused toward
windows development, web development or database development but in general
they understand and are capable of working efficiently using one or more
programming language (HTML, PHP, java, java script, MySQL, SQL, etc.) .
Generally they will be assigned to projects according to skill set and may
be involved in multiple projects at a given time. The responsibilities of
the Developer are as follows:
Technical Skillset:
1) Strong HTML skills (including browser compatibility knowledge)
required
HTML5 experience recommended
2) Web image optimization / preparation using Photoshop required
3) SQL/MySQL skills experience
4) Javascript/JQuery experience
5) PHP 5 (required)
6) Mobile web development using common framewoks (Responsive / Adaptive
Design)
7) Experience with Autonomy - Interwoven TeamSite a plus
Additional Qualifications:
1) Required to have a minimum of 2-3 yrs of industry experience and/or
an undergraduate degree in a related field (Computer Sciences, Multimedia
Design, etc.)
2) Must be able to prioritize responsibilities and meet deliverable
dates with limited supervision
3) Must be able to communicate effectively using both written and verbal
means
4) Must be able to comprehend requirements documents as related to
business and functional needs and plan coding efforts accordingly
5) Must produce accurate code, based on CIBER development standards and
perform adequate unit testing
6) Must understand and be capable of working in a flexible environment
where overtime and extra efforts may be required
