Job Description:
Designs and develops internal HTML5 and Hybrid Mobile Apps, systems
interfaces, databases, or reporting, as required to deliver new systems
functionality supporting corporate business objectives. Sr. Developer
leads moderately complex projects, often mentoring & providing guidance to
peer developers, and works under the guidance of the Development Manager on
complex projects.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop HTML5 Mobile Apps offering the best mobile experience
on Android and iOS devices.
- Maintain code for existing apps to support the latest devices and
releases of Android and iOS.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX concepts and principles for mobile devices.
- Proven experience building HMTL5 apps that appear like they are Native.
- Stay informed on the latest HTML5 and JavaScript APIs and frameworks and
mentor other developers
- Translate business, and functional requirements into documented technical
specifications.
- Utilize development skills to build (code) and unit test app
functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include
code builds and documented unit test results.
- Develop application support documentation as required by the application
support teams for acceptance of systems changes into production.
- Facilitate/lead reviews (walkthroughs) of technical specifications and
program code with other members of the technical team, communicating
design, requirements, feature set, functionality and limitations of
systems/applications to team and development
- Effectively communication, collaborate and partner with other teams
including Enterprise Testing, Release Planning and Management, Business
Systems Analysis, Project Management, and Application Support on successful
delivery of systems enhancements.
Functional/Technical Skills:
- Minimum 7 Years Application and Object Oriented Design Development
Experience.
- Minimum 4 years professional experience developing HTML5 web and Hybrid
Mobile Apps for Android and iOS
- Experience as a lead developer on at least 1 large project impacting
multiple business units with demonstrated technical leadership for at least
3 project developers.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated
experience in presenting details and resolving differences across a variety
of developers, analysts and business clients
- Professional experience designing and developing PL/SQL code in an Oracle
environment is desirable.
- Experience with enterprise scheduling tools such as TIDAL is desirable.
