I'm setting up a new dev machine. I downloaded liquidsoap from hg this
morning. When I ran configure, it ended with this:
checking whether pkg-config knows about ao... configure: error: ao.pc
not found.. Do you need to set PKG_CONFIG_PATH?
What package is missing (for Gentoo, if you know it,

Could it be that you didn't comment it out correctly ? Try to run
liquidsoap, and then your script in a more direct way:
$ liquisoap -- version
$ liquidsoap myscript.liq
Since /usr/local/lib/liquidsoap is installed, I assume utils.liq is in
