I've been doing just that for a couple of video's. (Adding audio)
I'm running RHEL8 / CentOS 8.
I use audacity (from EPEL8) to capture the audio, and get rid of the
background hiss.
I then use kdenlive (from flatpak) to put the audio onto the video.
To install kdenlive, as a flatpak, do the follo

I am hoping that someone on this list knows of an application,
preferably available for Linux, that will address the following.

It looks like the SL 7 samba security updates break IPA when applied onto an
IPA server:
