Suhail, Sounds like a misplaced grub install. SuSE probably had grub in the MBR, replaced by SL's grub. The chainloader +1 is trying to load a bootloader (grub) off partition 10 of the disk, which isn't there. You'll either need to modify SL's grub to boot SuSE similar to how it boots SL (

Well, I hate to say it, but I'm giving up on signing the x86_64 jdk that comes from sun. I've tried it with many versions of rpm, and or many different distributions, but it just doesn't sign correctly. But, I am going to sign the i586 jdk. That works correctly. And that should be enough for a
