I suffer from the Tex - LaTex version in SL55 which is not very fresh. Some features of beamer and beamerposter do not work. Is it safe to simply add something in /texmf tree? Has anyone tried to install the recent version of Texmaker? I did it successfully with v1.6. regards, Tadeusz
