TV kidney competition was a hoax
A Dutch TV contest which purported to show a dying woman choose a patient
to receive her kidneys was a hoax.
The donor in the show was in fact an actress - though the three people
vying for an organ were real
To paraphrase the Bard, I was not this angry since I came to the Netherlands.
How *dare* they! To perpetrate a hoax such as this, and couch it as reality-

For awhile, I did think it was goling to be real, because I know that American
law would *never* allow such a contest, hence its being done in the
Netherlands, where prostitution is big business (hence damn near anything
goes). Now...I don't know anymore.
