Any Terminator fans out there? I recently discovered the TV series based on the films, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I’d seen commercials for the show when it originally aired on Fox but I initially dismissed it. On a whim I saw Season 1 in the store and bought it. To my surprise, it rocked. Thomas Dekker did a great performance as a young John Connor; Brian Austin Green appeared and was, shockingly, not annoying; Lena Headey was fantastic as Sarah Connor.
I’ve heard some critics downplay her because she isn’t Linda Hamilton. But, let’s face it. Who is? Linda Hamilton kicked butt in this role: I remember the scene in "Terminator 2" where Linda Hamilton was doing chin ups on the upturned bed in her mental hospital room. She is iconic in that role. However, I think Lena Headey made the role her own. I originally saw Headey in the movie 300. She performed well in that; however, I’m more of a fan of her as Sarah Connor.
