JMS had the entire story laid out but some story elements were tweaked and
reworked for the series.
I was reading about his original vision of the series and its sequel. Maybe
he'll do his alternate take on the material as book or comic someday.

I remember hearing talk about a Space: Above and beyond movie for a while
but that died a quiet death. I kind of liked that show although it was
similar to Starship Troopers. (another movie that has been ruined.)

I'm aware of that, my focus was more on the pilot aspect of the show. It didn't
