Exactly. All it takes sometimes is a different price point and people will choose A over B. Here is a more recent example, PS3 vs Xbox 360. The graphics on the PS3 clearly is above and beyond the Xbox (they use it for a supercomputer in Isreal to work on genetics. Plus it has Blueray built in.) but

I think that people are becoming more tech savvy. They may not be at the Star Trek level of common knowledge but we're getting there.
