Sound advice, but one thing concerns me... this is Kubuntu. There should be a menu at the bottom left, doing its best to imitate the Windows start button. Paul: Is there such a menu? If so, what is in it? There should be items such as Internet, Multimedia, Office and others. Are they there? Kyle
