We have some leftover CDs that we burnt for aKademy. They are Kubuntu
Feisty CDs modified to include the icecc daemon and not boot up a
desktop. The desktop can be started with /etc/init.d/kdm start and the
install process should then be the same as any other Feisty CD.

What if you log out and then don't press any keys? Does the cursor
appear, but stay in the middle of the screen? The cursor is usually

And yes, as Kenny points out. Canonical provides commercial support for
Ubuntu. So big business can run it and have assurances that if something
goes wrong, they can point the Finger of Blame at someone and get it fixed.

I'm having a minor disagreement with mod_rewrite...
I have my website at http://lodge.glasgownet.com/ which has a blog at
http://lodge.glasgownet.com/blog/. I'd like to transparently redirect
all requests to / to /blog/, but keep other subdirectories in the root
useable.
