It looks like the i686 toolchain provided with scratchbox (scratchbox-toolchain-i686-gcc3.3-glibc2.3-1.0.3-i386.tar.gz
) uses "linux thread". Is there an existing toolchain that uses NPTL instead or do I have to build my own compiler?
