i was watching tv at my friends house and i saw a Virgin record
commercial that said something like, "virgin records, bringing
underground music to everyone." or something of that nature. if sdre
signs everyone will be talking about sdre and i hope hope hope their
music doesnt change like alot of
just so you know, i live in orlando where the virgin megastore is, and they
*do* bring underground music to everyone. i don't know anyone who hasn't
been able to find a cd they were looking for there... it's where i went
when my local "indie" record store was sold out of Rachel's... a friend
Ok, i knew about the SG, and also about the les pauls that he plays on the
new tour (man they are gorgeous). But what kind of acoustic guitar did
jeremy play when he was going solo? And does anyone know what kind of
strings he uses (or used). They sound like silk/steel strings, but i'm
not sure
If your Virgin Megastores does have lots of hard to find CD's go ask for
an English band called Terrorvision. They're on EMI, but strangely,
even though I've looked and looked at stores, I can't find them
anywhere, not a mention. They're a great pop punk rock band, and I
highly recommend How To
Virgin records also carries such hard to find gems as imported Divine Comedy
albums, and Martin Gore's very mysterious solo album, as well as crank! and
Jade Tree recordings. They probably have a host of other interesting finds
for such a place, but I haven't much looked around because the pric

nope... sunny day wanted out of the sub pop deal ever since the release
of hiftbso. (actually i talked to dan at the hiftbso party the night
before it came out, and he was dissing on sub pop then...) there are a
couple main reasons that they
their news section of their site just said they the band was straining on
their friendships so they decided it best to call it quits before ruined.
this is the site with the info they ave released...
http://www.prairienet.org/braid/news.html">the news
theyre having a couple last shows in chic
just to set the record straightit seems that fights had nothing to do
with the band (braid) breaking up. they boys have said that tension behind
the band was tearing their friendships apart, so they called it quits to
salvage their relationships...but " [we] havent heard the last of
them."
Here's a copy of the release form their publicist, along with the info on
those last couple dates. Thanks to Jessica for the timely info.

My name is Ryan Mills, and I'm new to the list. I love SDRE but I've never
seen them play live. I still don't have 'the pink album', but i fell in
love with Seven the first time I heard it.
i haven't seen the guitar in question, but a really amazing Gibson acoustic
guitar is the J200 model. I wou

just joined the list, and live in Vancouver. Of course I went to the show, it
was awesome, I had a great time. I also noticed that they were recording the
Holy Ancient Geezers!
