Did anyone end up finding out if that actually was Jeremy who posted the
review of the live disc at amazon.com?

Also is there anyone on this list that actually doesn't like all these "emo"
bands? I've given many bands a listen and most of what i hear is just
pitiful. It is kind of sad that sdre gets assosiated with some of this
stuff.

For those of you familliar with The Promise Ring maybe you can help me out
with this next question. I borrowed "30 degrees everywhere" from a friend
of mine. The first song (which i forget the name of) was actually pretty
good. The second song, "Red Paint" was also pretty good. There was one
other song i think it was #8 that i kind of liked. All the other songs
sounded the same as song #1.
Anyways my question is:

In the lyrics to "Red Paint" the singer says, "to to two cherry cokes"
Someone want to explain to me what the hell that is supposed to mean? I was
listening to it and thought to myself, "wtf? did he just say 'two cherry
cokes?' " So i whipped out the lyrics and sure enough....

Some other bands I have heard that are supposedly "emo" whatever the hell
that is are: Karate, Jimmy Eat world, The Get up Kids, Braid, Built to
spill, Rainer Maria (except the song Breakfast for Champions that song is
great), Cap n Jazz, The Crownhate Ruin, Piebald, Sweep the leg Johnny....
they are all awful. I know its just my opinion and i will prolly get flamed
for it but whatever. The music is incredibly boring (actually the bassist
for Karate fucking rules) and the lyrics don't do anything for me.

On a more positive note, there are some bands that may or may not be
considered "emo" that i'm actually quite fond of.

Burning Airlines (i guess these guys are or were on the bill with Promise
Ring and The Dismemberment Plan?)

Modest Mouse (incredible band)

Jets to Brazil ( i dunno if these guys are considered "emo" or not, fuck I
just call of this stuff rock music.

Enough ranting for now.
