"Sorry, but bein' the dedicated Propagandhi listener that i am, i'm havin' the hardest time understanding how the heck you could come up w/this comparison (not tryin' to be a jerk, okay?)... please explain, homie..." Certainly! Well, aside from the imperitive notions of early pre-Cambrian existence, let's try to look at this objectively. Let's take a prime example of Jeremy's signature vocals, most notably from the song titled 'Song About An Angel', when he sings: "Thin comfort in what I say...my back is turned...a halo...my soul...for awhile." When Jeremy reconfigures the notes of "awhile" to sound like a-huh-while, you'll find it sounds pretty much EXACTLY like when Chris from Propagandhi, in the song titled 'Showdown (g.e./p.)', proceedsn to belt out (with fierce conviction): "Those who see through the lies are quickly gagged and bound. Ambitions realized. Tear the whole fucking thing DOWN!" And peculiar as it is, take Daniel Hoerner's line from the above mentioned Sunny Day Real Estate song, being: "You're married to your pain." This, and I do admit the peculiarity betwixt such occurances as these and the natural sojourn of all things numerically inaccessible... This line from Dan sounds eerily JUST like Jon Samson, also of Propagandhi, and also from the above mentioned Propagandhi song, when he sings: "Girls with the greenest eyes...the first time you have kissed...our quiet softest sighs...a song for all of those who shot and missed." Just listen to the songs back to back; ass to ass. You'll hear it eventually.
