hey list, bla bla bla, "rising tide" absolutely freakin' rules, bla bla bla, i'm sure you all know this already. anyway, i love track 4, "disappear," it's one of my faves, but did anyone notice how the bridge is the same chords as the chorus of "learn to fly," by foo fighters? hmmm... if this was intentional, it would be a very funny tongue-in-cheek nate-bashing. but i don't think it is. :) anyway. after listening to "tide" straight through about 5 times so far, i tried to go back and listen to "diary"... um... it was difficult. i have to say, i love those songs, they are classics, but now that i've heard this new mature sunny day -- with great production to boot... well... i have to say their creativity and songwriting skills have increased greatly since '93. the last two tracks on diary are the only ones that i feel really fit with the new sound... speaking of which, why not play grendel on the tour? yeah, it'd be hard but they could pull it off, especially with their alleged 3 backup musicians. and it fits so well with, "tearing in my heart," for example. just my opinion. anyway, i'm done. thanks to these guys for making such great music to stand the test of time. -luke- ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!
