FWIW, I had a user's version of IE5 get flaky, would load a page, become
unresponsive for about 15seconds, then allow input. After patching,
updating IE fully, NAV found his system had badtrans and download.destiny
trojans.

Subject: Weird Stuff Lately...

Hello All,

I've had some weird stuff happening of late.

1. IIS5.0 won't start. But, when I click the Personal Web Manager and
Internet Manager Services icons on the task bar, mmc.exe and pws.exe appear
in the Task Managers Processes window.
2. ZoneAlarmPro is now blocking CuteFTP4.0, and UltraDev4 just hangs when
connecting to sites, although it doesn't show the settings to be so in
ZoneAlarmPro's Program Settings and I definitely haven't changed anything in
either program.
3. When starting up the PC, and clicking my dial up shortcut icon on the
task bar, the task bar freezes and the connect dialogue box doesn't appear
for at least 20 seconds, then it appears. I say the task bar freezes,
because it is set to hide, but just stays there. Nothing else is happening
while this happens.

Can anybody shed some light on these things..? TIA. Cheers all.
