Works that will email you based on your preferences.

I'm not aware Cisco Works will work for interpreting messages sent from
IDS boxes. Cisco Secure Policy Manager (CSPM) will manage the devices
and report the occurrences.

need the IDS to monitor and send mail if some special event happens. I
means, i need advanced reporting and monitoring features. Does
CicsoWorks do that??
