What use is the ranking claim to readers of this list *without* the
citation? I have seen several reports in the press claiming a
statistical ranking that puts Linux worse than Windows, but they were
generally followed up by responses taking apart the methodology. If
there is one that is supportable, security-basics readers should see
it. (there might be - particularly for 2002 which seemed
qualitiatively and in my opinion - to be a bad yearfor Linux)
The person that cited it should quote his source if he wants his
discovery to be useful to us.
