Yes. Veritas has very nice backup utilities if you have the budget. we use
netbackup datacenter here and it's awesome.. we backup over 120 Solaris
Server and arround 30 Aix boxes.

I'd suggest you check out Veritas Backup Exec Enterprise Edition. This

the ability to backup data from network drives as well as the local box.

Maybe rsync would meet your needs? You can run its own daemon, or what I
prefer, is to have it run the backups over ssh (-e option IIRC). It's
free too :)
