When did this security forum become a basic tech support forum? My first
pointer would be to post this to a mailing list specialising in basic
network problems, so we don't have to read "I can't terminate a
Category 5e cable properly" messages here...

computers further away from the router. All the cables that lead to the
computers that are the most distant from the router are under 40 me
